COURSE OVERVIEW

This directed studies course is intended for undergraduate and graduate students who have completed An Introduction to EEG and want to understand what an analysis pipeline actually does.

Every week combines the original advanced reading with a focused, interactive analysis. The controls make each decision visible; the code panel reveals the exact Python; and every lab can export its code and results.

Students can enrol in either EPHE 494: Directed Studies or MEDS 490: Directed Studies. Students can complete a maximum of 3.0 units of EPHE 494 and 3.0 units of MEDS 490.

Real Python, inside the browser. The scientific calculations run on the student’s own computer using Pyodide and NumPy. The course does not upload analysis data to a server.

Execute the analysis with a complete scientific Python runtime in a background worker.

03Inspect

Compare waveforms, spectra, scalp maps, time-frequency maps, statistics, and diagnostics.
